This is my first post after yet another three months of no posting at all. I’ve been busy updating all the idle blogs that I manage to set up during the past three years while working at a 9-5 day job. As you can see, this blog has been almost neglected as evidenced by the long gaps in terms of posted contents.
During my learning years, and I was so impulsive of buying domain names which I thought would be good for a certain niche that I wanted to tap into.
The bad thing is that I lost time and concentration in developing all those sites due to the series of many unfortunate life events that happened which I really never wanted to happen. Who would want it anyway?
The good thing is that these domains are already aged and have gained some Google trust and authority as far as search engine optimization is concerned. Basically, they’re ready for massive linkbuilding.
Survival Mode
For now, I’m just basically surviving selling premade niche blogs and turnkey sites. Other sources of monthly income are Adsense, affiliate sales, and some online gigs. Those gigs include offering services at Fiverr.com and creating fan pages for Facebook marketers.
The combined income from all these money making sources are just enough to buy food, pay bills, pay for house rental, web hosting fees, and domain fees. The remainder of my earnings is used to buy important internet marketing tools and much needed internet marketing information.
Yay, seems like it’s a hard life huh.. Well, making a living online is not that easy especially if you’re just starting and no other sources of money to feed yourself. Add to that is the struggle of being alone. Yeah as in alone with no human company but mouse and cockroaches and ants, and you’re constantly attacked with that dreaded ghost called loneliness.
Ah, talk about being rejected by someone you thought you really love. The sting of pain and sorrow is almost unbearable. They say that what brings down a man is his heart and what kills him is his loneliness. If not for the cross I should’ve been under the grave months ago.
Well, enough of that sentimental stuff for now. But why do I keep on clinging with this type of making for a living?
It is simply because I’m seeing a great potential. I see a life changing income here which is much greater than applying for a normal job or going back overseas.
Online Journal
As mentioned above, I already have several niche sites that are running but without much traffic and as a result no income yet. In the online business world, having no traffic is equivalent to having no buyers and customers in the traditional business world.
With that said, I’m actually in the process of starting to generate traffic through SEO and link building. I also started some Facebook and YouTube marketing as well.
From time to time I’ll be posting my results here as well as some effective marketing techniques. I’ll be covering the basics too. So this blog will be more of an online journal about my internet marketing activities which I hope would benefit you in some ways.
Interact Through the Comment Section
If you’re new to online marketing I may be stating some terms that might be foreign to you. I understand it would be somewhat hard to assimilate. So in the event that I failed to explain it thoroughly you may post your questions through the comments section below.
I should note here also that I’m not really good at explaining things through writing and speaking. I’m more of a technical person and I’m more effective at explaining things by performing or showing it in action than writing it.
Don’t worry though as I’ll try my best to explain internet marketing stuff using pictures (screenshots) and videos if possible.
Alright, that’s all for now. Subscribe and stay tuned for internet marketing tips on the coming posts.
